1. Who We Are

VisionPrompt ("we," "us," "our") operates visionprompt.org, a free toolkit of AI-powered tools for image creators. We have no employees, offices, or physical address tied to this service — it is a single-developer project. If you have questions about this policy, please contact us.

2. What We Collect

Information you actively provide

• Images you upload to our tools. When you use a tool that analyzes an image (image-to-prompt, captions, alt text, tags, descriptions, etc.), the image is sent to Google's Gemini API for analysis. We do not store the image on our servers, we do not retain it after the response is returned, and we do not use uploaded images for training. The image transit and Google's handling of it are subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• Text you type into our tools (prompts, descriptions, parameters). This is processed in the same way as images — sent to Google's Gemini API for the requested task, then discarded.
• Contact form messages. If you fill out our contact form, your name, email, and message are sent through Web3Forms (web3forms.com), a third-party form-to-email service, and delivered to our inbox. We use this information only to reply to you. Web3Forms processes the submission according to its own privacy policy.

Information collected automatically

• Anonymous analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager to collect anonymized usage data — pages visited, time on page, approximate region (country/city level), device type, browser. This is not tied to your identity.
• Advertising data. We display ads via Google AdSense. AdSense and its partners may set cookies and collect data about your browsing to serve relevant ads. See section 5 below.

What we do NOT collect

• We do not have user accounts, login systems, or password storage. There is nothing to "sign up" for.
• We do not collect payment information. All tools are free; there is no paid tier.
• We do not store your uploaded images, generated prompts, or input text after the request finishes.
• We do not sell, rent, or trade any data we collect.

3. How We Use Information

• To run the tools you use (sending your image or text to Google Gemini, returning the result).
• To respond to messages sent through the contact form.
• To understand how the site is used in aggregate, so we can improve it (via Google Analytics).
• To serve advertising that funds the site (via Google AdSense).

4. Sharing Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. We share only with the third-party services that make this site work:

• Google Gemini API — receives uploaded images and text inputs for the duration of each tool request.
• Google Analytics & Google Tag Manager — receives anonymized usage data.
• Google AdSense — handles advertising and may set cookies for ad personalization.
• Web3Forms — handles contact form submissions and delivers them to our email.
• Cloudflare Pages — hosts the site and may collect basic request logs (IP, user agent, timestamp) for security and abuse prevention, per Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

We may also disclose information if required by law (court order, subpoena, or other legal process).

5. Cookies and Advertising

This site uses cookies set by Google Analytics and Google AdSense. AdSense and Google's advertising partners may use cookies to serve personalized ads based on your prior visits to this site or other sites. For full detail on what cookies are set and how to control them, see our Cookie Policy.

You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google's Ad Settings, opt out of Google Analytics with the opt-out browser add-on, and visit aboutads.info for industry-wide ad opt-out tools.

6. Data Retention

We retain different categories of data for different periods:

• Uploaded images and text: not retained — discarded after each tool returns its result.
• Contact form messages: retained in our email inbox until we delete them, typically within 12 months unless an ongoing conversation requires longer.
• Anonymous analytics: retained by Google Analytics for the period set in our GA4 configuration (default 14 months) and may be retained indefinitely once aggregated.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live (EU, UK, California, and other jurisdictions with privacy laws), you may have the right to:

• Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your data
• Opt out of analytics tracking (browser opt-out add-on or ad blocker)
• Opt out of personalized advertising (links above)

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us. Note that because we do not maintain user accounts, the personal information we hold about any individual is generally limited to (a) any contact-form messages you have sent us and (b) anonymized analytics tied to your browser/device.

8. Children's Privacy

VisionPrompt is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the service evolves or as legal requirements change. Significant changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of VisionPrompt after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
